About us

We live, work, shop, and play in the same community as our customers. We see our customers at the grocery store, the farmers market, the library, school events, and parks, and we frequent their local businesses. 

Our commitment to the community began back in 1918, when Ed Herrington, Inc., sold coal to local families for heating their homes.  In the 1940s we added fuel oil, which become a popular new fuel choice.  

In 1998, current owners Fred and John Canetto expanded our offerings, adding full service department and air conditioning installation and service. Then, in 2011, our business became even more comprehensive with the addition of propane delivery, installation and service making us your one-stop, reliable source for ease and comfort in heating, cooling, cooking, and more!  

As the local community continues its loyalty to Herrington Fuels, we sincerely enjoy giving back to our local charitable organizations.
